In the beginning, I have to confess that I was somewhat doubtful that this tiny vacuum could do a good job cleaning pet hair and dirt in my house. We have two white haired dogs. They shed a lot of hair and we cannot keep it off of everything in the house. The vacuum cleaner that we were using did not do a very good job of picking up the hair. It's a real time-saver and spirit-lifter knowing I'm coming home from a tiring day on the job to a clean floor.

When I first charged it up and turned it on, the Roomba made its way around the room learning the space. After that, all I have to do is set the cleaning schedule and time, and the iRobot Roomba Silver knows exactly what to do and where to go. Another big plus is that it's so small it can get underneath tables and things that I was having to move before.
