Before the 1960's rugs were used throughout the home but then with the introduction of wall to wall carpeting they were forgotten. However now, people are tending not to install wall to wall carpeting in new homes and opting for hardwood or tiles. And those in older homes are opting to rip out the carpeting to reveal the original floors.

The result – area rugs are again gaining in popularity. Area rugs can be placed anywhere in the home and are easy to move about. With modern fibers and weaving techniques you can get a rug for every room of the home including your outdoor entertaining area. When it comes to rugs and carpeting, things have certainly come full circle.
