All my life I have been watching too much TV, hence, my idea of getting way too old means getting oneself admitted to a “home for the aged” residences. In other words, for as long as my house is still livable even when my knees are already too weak to dance around.

Get textured tiles for your flooring so you won’t have to worry about getting your arms or leg broken. In addition, large rugs are also helpful to give your home a sophisticated look and at the same time helps you cover slippery areas of your flooring, say, in your bathroom. Also, you may consider about remodeling your kitchen countertops from having sharp corners to round edges just to provide more safety when you move around your kitchen.

Aiming for some safety measures does not have to ruin a great home décor. In fact, it can help you be more innovative in your designs to achieve a better look of your home.
