Cotton window curtains are a good choice because you can wash them in a washing machine. Why is washing a necessary thing for the curtains? Germs and bacteria get stuck in between linings of the curtains. This feature is good because they prevent bacteria from entering the house further and spread like crazy. For instance, germs that enter the window might contaminate the food, which in turn will cause certain illnesses. This is where the protective measures run its course. On the other hand, the curtains should be regularly washed.

A feeling of invitation and warm welcome is also something that curtains offer for a room in the house. A set of colors including red, peach, etc. that gives the feeling of hunger is usually patterned with curtains that resemble the color cream. Preferably, light-toned curtains area also good for dark-toned kitchens since they let a considerable amount of light pass through, making the kitchen an adequately-lit room.
