The Benefits of Cardboard in Your Home
How are you going green?
With spring temperatures in the wintertime and summer temperatures occurring in the spring time, everyone is wondering what they can do to go green so that winters will once again be cold and springtime will again be a time of perfect weather before the hot heat waves of summer. When going green, people often thinking of buying a new hybrid car, using reusable water bottles instead of plastic ones, and recycling whatever can be recycled. Well, now there is yet another solution: going green with your furniture!
There have become more and more companies, such as Cardboard Design and ReturDesgin, that have dedicated themselves to providing you sustainable furniture. When I first heard the phrase "cardboard furniture", my first thought was, "Cardboard? Isn't that kind of flimsy?" But you'd be surprised! While the furniture feels incredibly lighter than the norm, it is incredibly durable, and you can get things from cardboard bookcases to desks to decorative fruit bowls. The structure of these products are similar to that of the hull of a boat, which is what makes the furniture durable.
Another great thing about cardboard furniture is that it's not costly at all, and can also be a great addition to any home. You don't need to worry about your new furniture looking drab or grungy–cardboard furniture comes in all different shapes, sizes, and colors that can be easily matched into your home.
