Recently, the modern, urban look has been a trendy design choice. In fact, there's a popular school dorm near my apartment that was built in the past year that has be designed with the modern eye.
A popular piece of furniture that has greatly contributed to modern interior design is a chair that is made out of recycled coke bottles–111 of them, in fact. A few years ago, the Coca-Cola company proposed an idea to Emeco with the idea of using their recycled bottles to make the Navy Chair, a chair that would show off the great value of what you could do with recycled plastic.
The plastic is combined with glass fiber to create a strong material that is both scratch resistant and very strong, which makes it very difficult to destroy. In addition, the process used to make these chairs try to use as little material needed as possible, making these chairs so light that you can easily pick it up over your head and is very easy to carry from room to room.
These chairs are half the retail price of a regular aluminum Navy chair, and are a good investment if you're looking for a chair that is modern, durable, and will last a lifetime.
