Arranging Your Child’s Bedroom
There are two things to consider when arranging your child’s bedroom – safety and comfort.
Never put the bed by the window. Toddlers and younger children could push on the screen and fall out. You also don’t want a draft on their heads in the wintertime. Do not put anything a child can climb on in front of a window. As much as possible, try and keep the window areas open.
Have a small nightstand by the bed with a lamp. Make sure wall sockets are behind pieces of furniture.
Have plenty of bookshelves and wall shelves to hold their special toys. Large storage bins work well as toy chests.
Remember that your child will be spending a lot of time here. Make it safe and fun by having the bedroom properly arranged.
